Our journey kicks off at 07:00 AM at Parque de la 93, marking the first meeting point for our adventure. Once everyone is aboard the van, we will head to the next stop, reaching the journalists' park around 08:00 AM to join the other travelers and set out on our journey beyond the city's edge.
At about 09:30 AM, we'll pause to explore some of the region's most iconic and traditional coffee-growing villages. There will be opportunities to snap photos, admire the scenery, and delve into the local history.
By 11:00 AM, we'll arrive at a Cafetera farm, where we will dive into the fascinating world of Colombian coffee. Here, we will uncover the history, cultivation, harvesting, and production of some of the world's finest coffee. You'll have the chance to savor some of the best brews in the region and discover innovative production techniques.
The specific farm we visit may change depending on the season and weather, but rest assured, you'll always explore farms celebrated for their high-quality coffee and traditional methods of growing and harvesting passed down through generations. During your visit, you can tour the coffee plantations and enjoy a selection of souvenirs and a wide range of coffee-related products.
Following our time at the hacienda, we'll proceed to the town's market square, where you can discover the region's fresh and traditional products and sample a few exotic Colombian fruits. By 02:00 PM, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy lunch at one of the area's typical restaurants (note: lunch is not included).
At 03:00 PM, we'll begin our return trip to Bogotá.
By 4:30 PM, we'll reach la Candelaria, and at 5:30 PM, we'll conclude our journey at Parque de la 93, where our tour officially ends.
